Why is Aditya Birla Group big in my life? Well, why is it not? As a kid, I grew up watching the advertisements of Aditya Birla Group and now as a grown up girl, I am a loyal customer of Aditya Birla Group. From the most basic necessity of a house – The Ultratech Cement to the most popular clothing brands such as Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Group has done it all. The celebrated enterprise has proved and established its excellence in every single market sector possible.
With such a plethora of products, services and their uncompromised quality, Aditya Birla Group could get to Indian populace without much drudgery. To deliver such world class products that stand out from the rest of the products in the industry, it would definitely have been a different story of uphill battle.
One of their recent milestones was the merger of Vodafone Idea and has become one of the prominent telecom service providers of India and much to our pride, is also the second largest globally. It has a subscriber base of about 408 million. Hindalco is one other brand within the brand. It is spread over about eleven Countries and has a huge workforce behind it and is obviously the undisputed choice of Aluminium or Copper in the Nation.
Aditya Birla Group would always remain the face of India with its sheer determination and hard work. The enterprise all through their years of journey has taken us to the clouds just like in their advertisement, building stronger bonds and safer havens, bridging gaps to ever new arena of fashion and lifestyle. Another point to be highlighted is how they have not just limited to a high growing business but also has taken up the responsibility of building a sustainable future. And all along, they have been lifting up the less fortunate communities, villages, students and patients as they grow. They work in and around five thousand villages putting big smiles on people and has treated over a million patients. They operate fifty six schools for 46,500 school children and many more. They have been successful in setting up a benchmark to the Nation of how a small-scale group can grow to much heights and let others grow. And this is a value that I intend to take away – to grow and let grow.
Of all the challenges that we face every day, some seem highly complex and sophisticated but then silly a few years or months down the lane. Every single challenge let us grow somehow. One such challenge I faced was taking up a stream for graduation to study that I had zero idea about. Everyday seemed to be hard because I could never come up to the level that I set for myself. And not reaching the standards one aspire for oneself can take a huge toll sometimes. Demotivation and never-ending fatigue being a by-product of it. But eventually I learned to manage myself and balance things. And definitely life does not take a pause when we are not ready. Time does fly. A chain of events happened in the background, both cheering and depressing. I started working on myself, took up references, sought help from those who were good at it. It seemed to be overwhelming at first but eventually got the hang of it. I graduated with decent scores and is proud of where I am right now.I am now a student of the prestigious institute of management ,IIM Ranchi. It was not an easy task as well. But when you finally feel at place, you feel a little better and a little lighter. This is my first time away from home. From sleeping with my mother to sleeping alone, I have grown much. The place has transformed me so much that even Iam so proud of myself. From being someone who has never ever heard the alarms to waking up a little earlier and also waking up my friends along, things have changed for the good. This is the biggest leap that I have ever taken from my comfort zone and Iam pretty sure it was all worth it. And all through this time the biggest lesson I learnt was to trust and believe in oneself.
