Do you remember the television advertisement where an exuberant woman breaks into a cricket ground, dancing on the tunes of the classic Cadbury jingle? Or the one where a woman with mehendi on her hands tries to open a pack of chocolate with unnerving tenacity? Or the one where boxes of 'Indian Sweets (Meethai) have been replaced with a box of Cadbury Celebrations?
Over the past few decades, the chocolate and snacking industry is one of the fastest growing industries in India. Take, for example, Cadbury. A company, that not more than 20 years ago, was a Rs 600-crore business has now turned into a Rs 6,000 crore business. And no matter what the occasion is, it is celebrated with a piece of Cadbury chocolate!
And when you are working in an industry that is rapidly scaling and growing, you grow with it too. And when you have legendary brands like Cadbury, every day starts and ends on a sweeter note. Which is why spending almost two decades at the legendary company can fill up your appetite for more opportunities for your career.
