Located in the beautiful city of Kashipur, Indian Institute of Management Kashipur boasts of a beautiful campus with all of the facilities provided for a student. Infrastructure
IIM Kashipur has a campus which is spread over an area of more than 200 acres. The beautiful red brick buildings are constructed by one of the best construction companies of the country, “Shapoorji Pallonji Group”. The lush green campus is full of trees, plants and fresh air. This campus is largest among all the IIMs of the country. The hostels here are well located inside the campus and are at a close distance with the Academic block and the mess. Students don’t need to cover a lot of distance while attending lectures or while going for food. The hostels are equipped with all the modern facilities. All hostels have single occupancy rooms with bathrooms attached to every room. There are a total of 6 blocks with 4 floors in each block and 6 rooms in each floor. A common room is also provided at every floor where the students can sit and carry out important discussions. Other basic amenities like the refrigerator, Microwave ovens, washing machines and water purifier are also present in every floor of each hostel. All the rooms are equipped with “radiant cooling” which helps to keep the rooms cool and prevents students from the scorching heat of the summers.
Location
The campus is located in the beautiful city of Kashipur in the state of Uttarakhand. The campus is in close proximity with many of the famous tourist spots of the country. It is situated at a distance of about 64 kilometers from Jim Corbett National Park, 91 kilometers from the beautiful city of Nainital and 138 kilometers from the famous Mukteshwar. The campus is also located in the Kashipur Rudrapur industrial belt. The college has tie ups with many of the famous industries located in the belt which also provides ample amount of placement opportunities for the students to get placements.
Sports Facilities
The campus of IIM Kashipur also has a proper ground for outdoor sports activities. The campus has a well maintained basketball, football, badminton and volleyball courts. The students engage themselves in various sports activities after a tiring day of work.
Amphitheatre
The amphitheater of IIM Kashipur is home to the many cultural events like Coalescence, Agnitraya taking part in the college all throughout the year. Various festivals like Holi, Diwali and Durga Puja are also celebrated in the amphitheater of the college.
CLUBS AND COMMITTEES
IIM Kashipur has got 11 clubs, 9 committees and 4 cells. Each of these bodies work for different domain and are all run by the students of the college itself. The involvement of the students in these clubs, cells and committees ensures all the important skills like the management, leadership and the communication skills are developed in the students.
