‘Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life.’
Aditya Birla Group is one of the first names that comes to my mind when I think of Indian Conglomerates that have made it large in the entire world. The Aditya Birla Group is in the League of Fortune 500. Anchored by an extraordinary force of over 120,000 employees, belonging to 42 nationalities. Over 50 per cent of its revenues flow from its overseas operations spanning 35 countries.
The Aditya Birla Group touches so many activities of my day-to-day life. Firstly, I am able to contact my family and friends easily and use high-speed mobile internet because of Vodafone Idea Limited. Vodafone SuperNet 4G enables me to do research on the go and transcend borders of communication. The food that we eat, the road that we walk on, the houses that we live in, all have some element of Aditya Birla Group present in them. ABG has also ventured in the banking sector with a full-service digital bank, Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank Limited (ABPB), offering loans, insurance and much more.
In a B-school and interviews, formals are an integral part of proper dressing. Aditya Birla Group caters to our demand of formal clothing for men by providing an exclusive range by Allen Solly and Van Heusen. All the formal attire I have purchased is courtesy of the Aditya Birla Group. I love how these brands can make a fashion statement and provide comfort at the same time. So I can proudly say that Aditya Birla group has helped me to get admission in one of the best institutes of our country, IIM Ranchi.
Freshwrapp and Superwrap aluminium foils are also a part of Aditya Birla Group. Our family uses Freshwrapp aluminium foil for wrapping food items. Knowingly or unknowingly, Aditya Birla Group is a part of a lot of things that we do on a daily basis. It improves our society and country and making it a better place for all of us to live. Indeed, Aditya Birla Group is prominent in the lives of every Indian.
‘How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far.’
Challenges and struggles are part of everyone’s lives. We face many challenges in our day to day journey. The challenges we face throughout our lives makes us the person we are.
As my father served in the Indian Navy, I got an opportunity to travel and study a lot of schools. But while moving to different cities and admitting in new schools, initially I found it very difficult to cope with the new ambience of the town as well as that of new schools. I found it difficult to adjust to a new peer group. But then I took it as a challenge and was able to manage the situation tactfully. I started interacting with my teachers and also with all my classmates. Apart from that, I also took part in sports and extra-curricular activities and made new friends there. My parents also encouraged me to take part in extracurricular activities. As a result, within a few days of my admission, I was selected as the monitor of the class by my class teacher. I was also selected as Vice President of Chemical Society, of my college, Sri Venkateshwara College From this life event, I had great learning that things may look difficult initially. But then if one gets used to something, it becomes easier. So, it was an advantageous experience as it developed my communication skills and made me more flexible.
The best way to overcome challenges is to prioritise your options rationally and start working on converting those challenges into something beneficial. This is what I always do, no matter how big or small the problem is, I always treat all issues as an opportunity to learn something new and prepare myself to deal with upcoming challenges tactfully and give best of my performance.
