Challenges are the indispensable part of human life. Everyone must face them in various stage of a life cycle. Challenges bring out creativity and problem-solving skills within an individual. It reflects the strength of a person to adapt and face problems

I faced many challenges in my life, the most challenging scenario which I can remember was my transition from a mechanical engineer to an IT engineer. I had work experience of 3 months in mechanical industry, but I was not satisfied with the work I was doing in my company. The work was monotonous and pay scale was pretty low so I joined TCS. I liked the working culture of TCS but being a mechanical engineer, I was facing many issues in adapting myself in such environment where everyone is talking about latest technology and coding languages. I was deployed to a project which demands an employee who has coding experience in python technology. I asked my team lead to explain me how this technology work and give me small assignments to provide me hands on experience in python. He understood that I am not from IT background but realising my passion towards learning he helped me a lot. It took me four months to adapt myself to the working culture and learn the technical aspects of python. But I didn’t stopped, after six months I developed my skills and started giving valuable insights and important project scopes which ended up getting a new development and testing project for TCS. My hardwork and commitment finally paid off when I was awarded with “On the Spot award from TCS”.
