While writing this article, I was recalling the products that I have used and ended up lost in fond memories of childhood and adulthood. In every part I find the group present, enriching memories making the experience even better. What if we remove all of the products from our family. Yes it would be like losing something very important. This is what Aditya Birla Group is, “An important member of the family”.
I remember in my childhood my friends used to have food from my tiffin in lunch time. It’s because it was hot and tasty and we loved it.
When I was growing up, I almost lived half of my life outside house but I always feel connected with my family and the network never shown not available. And when we recently built our house, we discussed on everything but about cements in a whole lot of variety, we know whom we can trust.
In my brother’s marriage too we were so confused from where to shop and than one of our friend suggested and we got everything there.
Right from schooling till now whether it is hindalco fresh wrap, idea, ultra tech or Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Group was right there between us and yes I feel I am part of ABG family. I feel I am ABG.
How Have You Made An Impact?
I got placed in Kirloskar Brothers Limited from campus. There I went through training for 6 months. After training process in Kirloskar I was given a profile of Tool Design Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering Division.
I was an electrical engineer and was given core mechanical department and that too design engineer post. I did not even know how to study Engineering drawing at that time.
In the next 10 days, I was asked to provide tooling to 2 divisions having pump production of almost 3000 pumps. If you don’t provide tooling at right time the production will hamper and this will result in loss to the company.
I have to deliver my best performance. So, what I did was, I started learning from my draughtsman. I took them to the shops, ask for the solution from them and then we started designing. So many times designs were wrong but I never give up.
As there were many situations that I was facing, my learning graph was shooting. I used to ask so many questions from the supervisors and even from the workers and they taught me so many things. And after a struggle of a month I started providing solutions and even improvements in the processes.
