Selected as one of the Best 50 of India's Most Promising Incoming MBA Students 2024, Arjjan Walia brings a finance-first operator's mindset. At Bain Corporate Finance he worked on complex financial problems. As Enactus lead he guided a 60-member team to launch four ventures tackling stubble burning, creating 35 jobs and supporting 250+ farmers. Earlier at L&T, he self-taught advanced Excel to redesign a GST reconciliation model, saving about 30 hours per month. Backed by CAT 99.98 percentile and CFA Level I (highest band), he now builds on this foundation at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Why He's Most Promising
Promising is turning pressure into process and process into outcomes. Arjjan shows it by scheduling for CAT and CFA ten days apart and mentoring a new teammate with a structured plan at Bain. Analytical depth, fast learning, and public-minded leadership signal a finance leader who will ship results and widen access and impact.
Congratulations, Arjjan! Well deserved!
