The vibes of Tom Hanks college experience reverberate in me since I got into XIMB. With two months of CAT preparation and resigning the job for MBA at the peak of my uncertain career, XIMB came to my rescue. ‘A dream came true.’
Seniors in XIMB overwhelmed me. They supported newbies much before the college started. From submitting fees to reaching the campus, everything, they were the one to help.
They made the world I am into from last two weeks entirely different for me. They shock us, surprise us and don’t let us sleep!!! This world is a NOCTURNAL world in true sense. While our orientation was going on, they arranged our GDs and presentations in the evening hours in some random groups. All we yearned for some rest and all we got was rush. No Saturdays, no Sundays. All days are the same. Wait! Not because of classes but because of unending events and batch meets. Official classes are over by 18:15 and our unofficial routine (to the auditorium) starts by 19:15 which we don’t know when will be over. Here our seniors lead all the management activities and by the next year probably we will be leading, with the senior management working in the background. Our seniors are role model to us. Their sincerity towards benefitting the college and students is the campus’ uniqueness. They scold us, put penalties on us (when we don’t attend batch meets!!) but they are the one who made us immersed in the campus and not missing home. I owe them respect!! A lot!!
This is my insight of the college in two weeks. Let’s see what all memories I am going get in the next two years of my life….
Which ABG company would I want to work for and why?
If I have to work for ABG I will prefer NOVELIS Inc because it has a different genre of work exposure and as I have a technical background too, I prefer working in an environment which I am accustomed to. Moreover, Novelis works on such an innovative concept that I can never have less to learn from it.
