I had observed, soon after joining a b school that the laptop was an indispensable part of life of each student, regardless of academic inclinations. The studious ones use it to crunch data. The creative ones use it to make snazzy presentations. The lazy ones (a majority of the batch) use it to watch movies, sitcoms, porn and play Age of Empires. Actually, most of us are a mix of all three. I realized that Excel too, could be used to do all of the above three.
