Leveraging Technology - SJMSOM

SJMSOM is indeed unique for me as apart from the usual emphasis of the traditional management course of finance, marketing etc it offered several core and an elective course on the use of technology, its importance in the current landscape and essentially created a unique blend of a program which was quite appealing for me. I come with 3.5 years of experience from the technology sector where I have worked on several of the trending technologies we talk about today. My primary aim was to switch or upgrade my career through an MBA program but also ensure that my experience in technology could be leveraged. Which is the foremost reason why SJMSOM made perfect sense for me? Apart from being one of the best management institutes in the country it also offered me a unique opportunity to do precisely what I was looking for which is a blend of technology and management. And to add to all of this a residential program experience which is vital and that too in one of the best if not the best campus in the country in the commercial and financial capital of the country and the combination was definitely bordering on the irresistible. Another major selling point was a significantly lower batch strength which would foster greater peer learning and better faculty interaction, both of which are vital for a more enriching learning experience. And last but not the least the opportunity to study in IITB campus, freedom to attend several courses and workshops there which most likely would be aligned with my interest and the IIT tag was all just a cherry on top of a cake situation.
