IIM Indore commonly known as Planet–i among its students is quite unique. The first and most eye catching thing is its beautiful infrastructure; said to be the most beautiful campuses of an institute in India. It is situated far away from the hustle and bustle of the city on a hill top and that’s how it has got another name “Prabandh Shikhar”. The two years here are more like a vacation on a hill station but with little twists, some hard work and a lifetime experience to take away. This campus has something for everyone in the store, from the sports enthusiasts, to the adventure lovers, nature geeks and everyone in between. The campus has a wide variety of flora and fauna spread in the gigantic 78 hectare. It has an Olympic sized swimming pool, squash court, sauna bath, steam, etc. for recreational purpose, they even screen a new release Bollywood movie every Sunday in the auditorium. Life in IIM Indore will be everything you expect out of college life and then some.

IIM Kashipur is located in the city of Kashipur, Uttarakhand. Kashipur is a small town which is in the vicinity of a huge industrial belt. Placed near the Himalayas, Kashipur also provides a great opportunity for the students to get in touch with nature and enjoy the natural beauty. IIM Kashipur is a relatively new college for management established in 2011, but in a short amount of time, it has carved a space for itself among the top B-schools in India.

My Abode In The North - IIM Kashipur
After a hectic waiting list movement period, I got a confirmation mail from IIM Kashipur. I was so excited to finally study in a B school. With some luggage, I started my journey from Delhi’s Anand Vihar terminal. After traveling for 5 hours and crossing two famous rivers of northern plains i.e. Ganges and Yamuna, I finally reached Kashipur. It is a small city located at the foothills of Great Himalayas.

The Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur was one of my dream business schools from the outset, and as I had received calls from most of the new IIMs, I had decided to pick IIM Kashipur as the destination for these two years of my management education. With a lush, green, sprawling campus spread across two hundred acres, and architecture inspired by older, more established IIMs, it has rapidly begun its ascent into the upper echelon of business schools in the country. All of this made my choice relatively easy. Renowned faculty and a peer group composed of some of the best students in India also make this campus one of the places to be for management education in our country. The diversity of the group here and the interaction between the seniors is another reason why this campus is one of the best of the new IIMs. IIM-Kashipur also has an exhaustive library with Bloomberg terminals and other world-class facilities. It is located in the heartland of industrial and agricultural India in the Gangetic plains, located along the Kashipur-Rudrapur industrial belt.

Red Building Of Dreams - Prakhar Gupta, FMS Delhi
FMS is the oldest MBA College in India. Established in 1954 under the Delhi School of Economics, the first batch of faculty were trained at Stanford University Business School, the college is the best example of working efficiently with limited or constrained resources. A single building where the best faculties from all over India teach MBA students. The faculty who are recognized industry stalwarts in guiding and mentoring both students and industry professionals. FMS has a great diversity in the batches and with the least number of students among all competitive B-schools, it provides the best learning experience due to more teacher-student interaction. The campus atmosphere is such that students believe in collaboration over experience which is one of the most important managerial trait. I believe this is what makes my campus unique.
