What makes it different from the other schools is that it teaches its students how to manage resources. It gives us an opportunity to make the best out of whatever is provided. It gives us a chance to push our boundaries and polish our skills.
I am an MBA first year graduate from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. My college is unique in a number of ways, when compared to many B-schools across India. For one, it is one of the very few colleges to offer an MBA degree rather than a diploma. This is because we are in a university setup, by which we can interact with a lot of other faculties and this gives us a scope to widen our horizons. Most of the students here also live in flats by themselves, unlike hostels which present a unique challenge in collaborating for group projects, assignments and case studies. This makes us better managers than most other B-School students, as we learn the art of time management as we learn it right from here. These are some of the unique things about FMS, Delhi.
My campus, FMS, is unique in almost every aspect. It was established several decades ago and has always been a premier tier1 college. Yes, the campus is smaller than what people will expect it to be. But it teaches us to work in a resource constraint. It’s a beautiful campus where there is loads to learn. The accessibility from my campus is mind-blowing. Nothing is far for us at FMS and no target is unachievable here.

The first time I entered FMS, I was apprehensive about being dwarfed in the sea of talent and dreams that this institution embodies. However, since the moment I entered, I met only polite, soft-spoken, humble people who were there to help me in any capacity they can whether it be the receptionist, the faculty, the support staff or even the canteen staff.
