After I was done with my interviews and waiting for the results, I decided to do an Internship in Bangalore. It was a startup run by an Alumni of one of the old generation IIMs. I was nearing the end of my internship when my interview results started coming out. I was happy to go any of the new IIMs except IIM Trichy. This was because I had done all my education in South India and really wanted a new exposure.

IIM Trichy - Not Just A Dream
“Knowledge is Endless” the motto in itself says a lot. Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli is a second generation IIM with a vision and dream of being in the league of not just the best business schools in India but also to create a footprint in the history of B schools across the world. IIM Trichy which was set up in 2011 has showed a tremendous growth among all the second generations IIMs, by growth I just do not mean the growing placement statistics but also the quality of organizational leaders it produce, the inspiring and motivating professors it has, the world class infrastructure , amazing network across the industries and the alumni and last but not the least the very supportive and helpful seniors who strive hard day and night along with their juniors to take the institution to new heights.

The Flow Of Life - IIM Kashipur
Established in 2011 with six other IIMs around the same time, IIM Kashipur was first to boast of its own campus. Strategically located in dense of industrial belt of Uttarakhand, it provides its students with a plethora of opportunities to learn from the operations stalwarts. It is only 5 hours journey from New Delhi which gives students the exposure to NCR easily.

Envision awakening to dawn in the valley where the horizon plunges into the mountain extend getting a wonderful verse underway. That is the IIM Udaipur's Balicha Campus. Envision awakening dewy-peered toward, and looking outside the window to see the brilliant sunlit open space between clusters where your colleagues are up and about. It is a somewhat welcome sight.

If an entity is unique, it is unlike anything else – the only one of its kind. For an educational institute to be unique, it’s certainly a tough task to achieve. Most B-schools across categories – A+, A, A-, B+, you get the idea – try to be unique by being the only one in their tier to have stellar placements or attract global recruiters to hire their students. In all honesty, for a college in the IIM fraternity with a legacy of 7 years, it is difficult to achieve this distinction. This is not to say that global recruiters do not visit IIM U, because they do, rather it is not something which other IIMs have not been able to do.

The Pride Of The Aravalis - Sanket Vibhandik, IIM Udaipur
The first glimpse of the IIMU campus that you catch when entering the main gate is that of a huge complex of oddly assembled blocks, with a giant 4-story bridge suspended between two sets of the said blocks. As you move closer to the structures, you realize there is an enormous pit at the bottom of these structures, facing the main gate. It’s gonna be a lake soon. Yup. The campus has multiple lakes planned and this is just the first of it. And the bridge that I mentioned is the 4-story library, and arguably the most impressive façade any campus in the country can boast of (when it's fully constructed, of course). As you take a right and drive up a winding road to the hostels, the Aravali ranges greet you in their entire glory, with the valleys and hills and the lush greenery overwhelming your senses. And that’s just the first 3 minutes of your experience at this breathtaking campus.
