The Three Inspirations Of My IIM Indore Life - Nitesh Sudhanshu
As Oprah Winfrey rightly said and I quote: “Surround yourself with people who are going only to lift you higher.” At IIM Indore, you will find such people in almost everyone.

I had lived in Delhi for 4 years when the opportunity opened up for me to go to a place which was in the crudest words, completely different from my background. Everything from food habits to language to slangs was going to be different. This did make me apprehensive but the desire to study in a residential campus overpowered these apprehensions. And I came to XAHR-XUB.
IIM Indore is the sixth addition to the list of IIMs and is one most coveted Business schools. Compared to other institutes IIM Indore sets itself apart in varieties of ways.
Having talked to my friends from other B-schools, now it doesn’t surprise me that all IIMs are so different from each other in so many ways. While we can brag about the placement statistics and alumni diaspora, the things that make IIM Indore unique in a special way for me are the small things I experience, enjoy, struggle with, every day.
IIM Indore is known as the Planet-I and as the saying goes planet-I never sleeps. IIM Indore has a very unique way of teaching you the way of life the life goes on at a full pace here. There are so many activities to indulge into that the excitement will never leave the air.
Nostalgia is a psychological state that can put one in a wonderful state of mind. Starting the day around morning 5 o clock and working till 3 A.M is the definition of a normal day schedule at a B-School. And my case was no different from this from the first week itself.
One would not expect to have a memorable classroom experience in less than 30 days of being here. But I guess that says enough of the B-school I’ve joined. It was our fourth session of ‘Communication Skills for Managers’, Prof. Sumitra Balakrishnan had something unique planned for us.
“We don’t remember days, we remember moments..”
