9th January 2017 was the day when they declared CAT-2016 results. I had scored 99.04 percentile. Never did I know that this will play little role in getting me a top college. Some institutes gives the CAT score a 40% weight while others had it at 30%, my parents, on the other hand, gave it 100%. Loud they went on to send messages on WhatsApp “OUR SON HAS SCORED 99.04%ILE. [WE ARE] PROUD OF HIM”. Little did they know that dreams were about to be shattered. IIM A, B or C seemed a distant dream and I had to reset my goals towards IIM Indore and Shillong.

SP Jain Mumbai is one of the four campuses of the global school, and hence, provides excellent international exposure and is the preferred partner for exchanges even for other International B-schools.
As one by one the most awaited (or dreaded!) results came out, the excitement of every aspirant was palpable. For a majority, it was difficult to decide what college would best suit them, and for still a lot, it was a lot about clearing the waitlists, constantly checking up pages, in tune with the college alerts, pestering seniors and college alumni. Ahem, a *healthy* form of bugging.

Or may be time was an issue, because it was too much and he had nothing to do. He was alone with his thoughts, literally. The whole campus had left, all his friends, most of the staff too. This small shop was the last place where one could have a cup of tea. This college is among the top 10 MBA colleges in the country; there are students all over the country, preparing day and night to get admission in it, while their mothers make the late night coffees.
