The Bumpy Ride That It Has Been - IMT Ghaziabad
I asked him, “So when do you start loving this place”. He said amusingly “Just 2 months before when the preparation for convocation starts”.

They say hindsight is 20/20. With the completion of a year at IIM Calcutta, and a lot of reminiscing over the year with batchmates and friends from other campuses, here is a list of things we wish we knew when we joined the brand:
Pride and nostalgia were visibly on display at the Fifth Annual Convocation of the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli, to award the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), was held on Saturday, 18th of March 2017.
Indian Institute of Management Rohtak conducted the 6th convocation ceremony on Saturday, 18th March, 2017. 156 students of the 6th batch of Post Graduate Programme in Management graduated in the presence of proud parents, friends and relatives.
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is not just a name; it’s a legacy of a half century. Established in 1965 by the University of Mumbai in collaboration with the GSB, Stanford University, it has built and maintained its reputation as one of the top 10 business school in India. With the help of an extensive list of accomplished alumnus, it has made and earned its name as “The CEO Factory”.
In the summer of 2016, I was gleefully overjoyed and mind-numbingly confused. I secured admission into two of my dream colleges and had to make the hard decision of choosing between one of them. What made the decision harder was that they both were sectoral colleges with two-year focused programs. I had an interest in both specialisations, loved both the campuses, each one of them being a name to reckon with.

The title might give you a feeling that it’s New Year’s eve, well it’s not and the fact that what you read in the incoming lines might actually connect with a very few who have gone through the experience I describe but I sure tell you that this piece might answer the quintessential question that grapples possibly every MBA aspirant who plans to put his/her 2 precious life years and a whole lot more to opt for something they call MBA. The question which I’m referring to is, yes some of you guessed it right, “Why MBA after all” and regardless of the fact that I’m only a half MBA yet with a whole lot coming my way in the year to come, I surely can do some justice to answering the question with a fairly unbiased conviction.
