The day begins with an unfriendly noise of the alarm at 06:30 am followed by some mental debate if there’s more time to sleep or not. There isn’t, so the debate sees a clear winner always. Some yoga to keep the mind, body and soul together consumes another 15 min. And then the song from Taare Zameen Par buzzes through every RBC of your body, Jame Raho. Rushing against time, getting ready, and trying to convince your mother that you’ve had enough food, gives you the entry ticket to the outside world of reality, every day.
My journey with MISB Bocconi started when I experienced one lecture as a prospective student. Not knowing what Supply Chain Management really was, I was almost under a spell when Prof. Thanos Papadimitrou was teaching. His practical experience combined with his knowledge had me really impressed. It was at this time I realised that some of the word’s best faculty comes down to teach and to share their vast expanse of wisdom.

It was the end of induction, and just like many of my innocent batch mates, I thought to myself, “Thank God it’s over! Now we can have a normal college life.” But, little did we know that it was just the beginning.
With the beginning of the month of October, festivities and celebrations had started all over the country and IIM Shillong was no different. After a wonderful Dandiya Night in the first week of the month, Cultural Committee of the institute began preparations for one of the most awaited festivals, Diwali. Amidst the hectic schedule of classes, assignments, quizzes and what not, the late night meetings, decorations and the shopping in between the classes led to what was one of the best weekends for the students at IIM Shillong.
