Amid conclusive year of my Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, I began planning for CAT ‘12 having a fantasy of getting into IIM A, B, or C and when the application form was out I just ticked A, B, C and L for the choice of IIMs I wanted to be in. I scored 98.6%ile and I was having a tinkling of hope of getting a call from IIM-L but unfortunately I didn’t.
How do you know when you are in love? Some say that all the songs start making sense or it just feels right or you can’t eat, you can’t sleep. Unfortunately, none of those things happened to me.
TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a global set of conferences run by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation, under the slogan "Ideas Worth Spreading”. The IIM Trichy TEDx Committee is a student run body and is responsible for organizing the annual TEDx event. The committee works year round to reach out to distinguished members from various fields to select individuals best suited to deliver maximum value and intellect to our student community to bridge the gap between students and research scholars across fields.
What is it that lends meaning to life? Is it our routine? The sequence of events that we perform day in and day out maybe to conform to society, to fall in line, labouring our minds and body in a relentless pursuit of normalcy. Is that what describes us? Or is it the sparks of creativity and unbridled passion that is harboured deep within us which enables us to produce works of art and things of beauty that define us? We at IIM Trichy believe it is the latter. True to the spirit of IIM Trichy culture ‘Work hard, Party harder’, the Cultural Committee of IIM Trichy nurtures this aspect.

Sigma Eta has been playing a crucial role in the success of students of IIM Tiruchirappalli in the field of Operations ever since it was established.
Shivesh Bajpai, is a 2nd year PGP Student of IIM Trichy. He is a part of the B-fest committee and also enjoys his time as a Core Member of the Drama Club. He has cleared CFA level 2 and awarded a badge of excellence in the FLIP National Challenge 2014.
The CSR Club of IIM Ranchi, Samarpan in collaboration with Sankriya, the Operations and General Management Club successfully hosted Nirvaadh’16.
