A curious mind and a supportive set of parents ensured that I always did more than just study. Right from my early days of school, I got involved in a plethora of activities. Managing academics with debating and writing allowed me to engage in multitasking from a young age. Little did I know that this would be a lifesaver in the years to come.
The thought of living and studying with a group of like-minded people as you go through extremely fast-paced days and grow every moment is as exciting as it sounds, and that is what MBA is to a great extent. As you spend the majority of your time with your colleagues and share the most memorable, fun moments you soon develop a language of your own for situations you’ve now aced handling after having done for the umpteenth number of times. Here are a few things that you can’t miss hearing from every MBA grad ever!

It has been almost 6 months here, at SIBM Pune, living the fun, hectic (whichever side of the coin one would want to acknowledge) MBA life. Life runs at 3X here, without any subtitles! There is so much to absorb, it is surprising how much can be accomplished in 24 hours. That is probably what MBA is all about. Sans the management studies, MBA teaches you how to respect time and life. Get ready for some serious introspection, retrospection and a drastic increase in yourself and world awareness in MBA.
It’s 9:30 am. The alarm whirs me awake from a deep slumber. After 4 rounds of having ‘snoozed’ ahead, I finally decide to get myself up. Looking around I see, while one of my roommates is still enjoying his much-deserved rest, the other is already out and about. As is the ritual, a quick prayer goes up and I turn to my phone. Going through all the emails and messages, I forage for the urgent deliverables. Suddenly, a childish glee runs across my face. I recall what awaits me in the next hour— Dean Sir’s lecture on ‘Learning to Learn’. With no time to waste, I spring out and get going.
