When I first walked into the lush green campus of TISS Mumbai on a rainy June afternoon (because when is it NOT raining in Mumbai?!), I was convinced this campus was one of Mumbai’s best-kept secrets! Imagine a campus where you hear the sound of birds chirping every morning, a classroom with a view of serene green hills…all this in the heart of Mumbai’s hustle and bustle!
I live a poem featuring all those who vibe and rhyme. And, this phase at IIM Indore has been incessantly adding more excerpts to my rhyme. Life is replete of experiences, that's what is making it count. The happy, tough, dull, frantic, hectic and ecstatic days, each one offering a new opportunity and a fresh perspective to life. Each day, bringing in new realisations and learnings, for some to be learnt and others to be unlearnt. This constant period of perpetual learnings and alternating phase of learning and unlearning drives the life forward moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day, week by week, month by month and year by year. These moments and days make all the difference and make one's experience at IIM Indore, an inevitable part of one's life.

When one thinks of FMS, the first thing that strikes their mind is the exceptionally low fees and the tremendous Return on Investment (ROI) that one can get when they enter this college. But FMS is way more than this. This can be justified from the top rankings from portals like Outlook, QS, TIME, MBAUniverse, etc. that FMS has received over the years.
Over the last 82 years of its existence, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has not only helmed landmark changes in our social and academic framework, but has been a flag bearer in upholding country-wide and international integration in the truest sense of the term. Having been in TISS for the last four years, I can vouch for the fact that the kind of cultural heterogeneity and exposure that one can find in this campus, coupled with a sensitivity and respect for the deeper nuances of social interactions, cannot be found anywhere else. Not only does this campus encourage a wide range of diversity in terms of nearly fifty masters courses in the Mumbai campus alone, but the students at TISS also come from all the parts of the country (and the world), as well as different walks of life! The TISS campus is known to be one of the most liberal campuses in the country, and you can feel freedom in the air of its Deonar Campus. An engineer, a doctor; a teacher, a lawyer; a parent and a fresh graduate: all of them could be classmates in the same course! The HRM&LR batch is one such example of how there are coexistence and camaraderie amongst students coming from diverse standpoints, experiences and skill sets.
There is a Chinese proverb that says: “Tell me and I will forget. Show me and I will remember. Involve me and I will understand.”
When you dance, you forget everything and just feel happy. Dance is an art that imprints on the soul. With every wave of your hand and every leap into the air, you use dancing as an expression. It is the hidden language of your soul.
