A US $44.3 billion corporations, the Aditya Birla Group is in the League of Fortune 500. The group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. With operations spread across 34 countries, the Group has a 120,000+ employee base, belonging to 42 different nationalities. The Aditya Birla Group is a world leader in aluminium rolling, viscose staple fibre, and carbon black production. It is also the fourth largest producer of insulators, one of the top 4 cement producers (excluding China) and is the second largest telecom company in the world. Over 50 per cent of the Group's revenues flow from its overseas operations. The group has interests in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services. The company was named the AON best employer in India for 2018 - the third time in the last 7 years. The Aditya Birla Group reaches out to 7.5 million people through the Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Rural Development each year. This is spearheaded by Mrs. Rajshree Birla. It is an Indian multinational conglomerate, headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India.

Aditya Birla also Named the AON best employer in India for 2018 - the third time over the last 7 years. The Group topped the Nielsen's Corporate Image Monitor 2014-15 and emerged as the 'No.1 Corporate', the 'Best in Class', for the third consecutive year. This company includes 38 number of companies, listed on BSE and NSE i.e. Grasim Industries Limited, Hindalco Industries Limited, UltraTech Cement Limited, Vodafone Idea Limited, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited, Aditya Birla Capital Limited, etc.

The company has highest diversified products ranging from telecom services, chemicals, financial services, and textile. The company also produces software and provides IT services, and operates a number of financial services subsidiaries. Indo Gulf is a fertilizer producer; Birla NGK Insulators, which is the world's leading producer of insulators; and Idea Cellular Ltd a leading telecom service of India.

Aditya Birla Group, the great Indian conglomerate has made its name in the country by manufacturing almost each and every good in the market. It has left no stone unturned in the fields of finance, insurance, apparel and telecommunication etc. At times when India is facing a severe problem of unemployment ABG group has provided job opportunities to various people in the country.

Aditya Birla Group, a brand which is instilled in Indian lives more than anyone could imagine. Take a name and ‘Wapaah’ it’s already there, be it Forever21, Pantaloons, Allen Solly, Freshpack aluminium foils, life insurance, Hindalco and many more. Could it BE anymore involved? Yes, you are right, I took F.R.I.E.N.D.S reference, mainly because I am intoxicated with that show and Rachel’s fashion. It’s from there that I started looking for work fashion and guess where my search ended. Exactly, what better place than an Allen Solly. It’s a brand that has transformed how Indian office employees used to see at their dressing lifestyle. Allen Solly was the modernizer in bringing semi-formal revolt to the Indian market. It is the amalgamation of youth’s desire to make a fashion statement and a working professional’s office attire. It was the first interview for my MBA journey, and I had to wear formals. My roommate suggested me to buy from Pantaloons. Since that day, I have become a religious customer to visit this multi-brand fashion retail outlet owned by ABG. It carries ABG’s in-house fashion brands Peter England, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Louis Phillipe, and People.
