My Story- Change of Educational Institution
How easy is it to change 9 educational institutes in a span of 20 years? Some people think too easy but when you actually think of it, you start going to school when you are at least 4 years of age. And I can say that I am not afraid of change anymore. When I was young I used to cry and crib every time my father got transferred( being in a government job) but there came a time when i was fed up of it. I used to revolt. I still remember I was in class 9th and I fainted in the school because it was becoming too much for me. I could not see and accept the change since my new school was completely different from the one I was in before. I used to cry and sit back in the medical room so that I could avoid the students there and after 1 years my dad got transferred from there as well. My fear still remained there. It was after I got into a boarding school that I realized that change is just a part of life. If i am not able to accept it, I should stop right now. No one is going to come and give m things on a silver platter, for that I’ll have to work, to interact and most importantly to accept the change that helps you to further grow. Meeting new people is always a part of life. You can never just hold on to people you meet once. You’ll have to move on.

Aditya Birla Group (ABG) has evolved to create an impact and become a part and parcel of everyone’s life. Right from the houses we live in, the food we eat, the calls we make are somehow linked with ABG. Being the third largest Indian private sector conglomerate/union, ABG has ventured into the construction industry (Ultratech cement), fashion industry (Pantaloons), telecommunications (Vodafone-Idea ltd) and so on.

The Birla Group, which was started by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in the year 1857 has transformed into a multinational conglomerate. With revenue of more than 44 billion USD and operation in 35 countries, Aditya Birla group has become a part of our daily life. A fortune 500 company and market leader across various categories, it serves as a role model to the budding Indian start-ups. As the Indian economy grew, their presence in the market increased significantly. From Ultra Tech cement that helped in building my home to Idea Cellular which makes me stay connected to my family, the brand’s diversified range of products and services have been omnipresent. Personally, it is Aditya Birla Fashion which has caught my attention. As a woman of 21st century, clothing is not just a basic necessity but a way of expressing myself. The variety of ethnic and western wear available at Pantaloons is amazing. From my Van Heusen formal blazer to my Forever 21 graphic tee, my closet is filled with outfits from Aditya Birla Fashion. Apart from fashion they are part of nation building through Hindalco, which is world’s largest aluminium rolling company. Their diversity ranges from providing financial services through Aditya Birla Capital to moulding young minds in the prestigious BITS PILANI. The group believes in giving back to the society through their CSR activities by investing in education, healthcare and rural development.
