I come from a humble background and my father is a small retail shop owner in our locality. From my childhood, I had to support our business and help my father regularly. Nothing came easy to my family and it was very normal to fight for everything be it electricity or drinking water. But nothing could stop me from achieving what I wanted from life.

For me growing in the the right direction is more important than growing rapidly. That’s what organic growth eventually means. We usually forget our vision and values while growing inorganically, and our speed and commitment if grows organically. And this is very I have a huge respect for Aditya Birla Group, the perfect balance they have attained over 160 years between both the parameters is remarkable.

ABG- A brand which once you come across, always remains by your side
I still remember the day I was having this conversation with my grandfather. I had just finished my summer internship as a mechanical engineering intern with RINL Visakhapatnam. Having been awed by the sheer size of the thermal power plant at RINL, I asked him,” Which is the largest powerplant in Odisha ?”, to which my grandfather replied,” The Hirakud captive power plant , of course.” He further told me that it’s located in Sambalpur and is operated by Hindalco Industries. That night I looked up for Hindalco Industries over the internet and eventually got to know that they are a part of The Aditya Birla Group. Soon I became aware of the fact that I have actually come across different brands of AGB without even realising they belong to ABG.

Aditya Birla Group!! The company that has expanded its business into 14 different industrial sectors, having a net worth of $44.3 billion an providing employment to 1.2L employees As we all know that Aditya Birla Group is one of the premier business conglomerates of India. It had started its business foundation from the jute manufacturing company and later expanded its business into various sectors and emerged as a prime conglomerate. Before the disruption of Jio, I had only one sim card all along with me i.e. Idea. Being the customer of Idea, it was disheartening to see the downfall of Idea due to Jio and later the acquisition done by Vodafone. Along the various stages of life, have been using various products of Aditya Birla Group which made my life serene. In day to day clothing, I have been preferring to wear the clothes of the brands like Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England, etc. I normally prefer buying my clothes from Pantaloons store where my favorite brands are available and the quality of services provided by the store is overwhelming. I am excited about the super-marts that will be opening soon in the country at a large scale, I am looking forward for the expansion of this conglomerate in the retail market section. The group has been constantly with be in various sectors like Insurance provided by Birla Sun Life Insurance Co Ltd. Being a Mechanical Engineer, in infrastructure segment cement provided for various segments like UltraTech Cement Ltd and Shree Digvijay Cement, the company never ceases to amaze me, I will always choose this brand over any brands.
