A Dark Night that Never Seemed to Pass

A Dark Night that Never Seemed to Pass

I was moving closer to the goal post dribbling the ball past defenders. A goal seemed inevitable and I was to become the only player in the history of my school to have scored a double hat-trick in a single game. Then all of a sudden I felt a hard hit straight to my shin and fell face first to the ground. I looked at my leg, it looked normal. But when I tried to get up, I just could not. For the next four months I was out of the school team on the grounds of suffering an injury.

HALF A LEG.

HALF A LEG.

Being a sports enthusiast, He was no short of sports injuries. It was a rigorous cycle. Get hit, take rest -play dead, get back into the game. Fate played a wild card against him sometime around when he was about to finish my schooling. Football did not give him much achievements but it gave him hell of a fracture. One that was good enough to stay dead. Then came the second phase of the cycle – The playing dead part. This was the stage of liability. Six months of bed rest accompanied by the delicious and nutritious food shot up his weight to a whooping 96. The increasing weight gave him an addition to the fracture, a beautiful ligament tear. This left him no choice other than being a spectator everywhere. A liability because he could not do anything alone anymore. Even the most normal thing that we can think about. Walking , changing positions , stairs, bathroom , all were out the things that he could handle. All he could do was spectate everything happening around him.

How I Overcome Challenges to Achieve My Ambitions in My Life - TAPMI4

Since childhood we all have some ambitions and they keep on changing with time and situation. But in my case I had one ambition fixed which was on the other side of career, education or studies. I dreamt of visiting more than 30 countries alone till I attain the age of 35. There were many challenges as it was not as easy task to do. The major big problem was financing ( I never wanted to travel on my parent's money), the second being risk of traveling alone and inexperience. But its rightly said "If you really wan't something, you will get it one day.

On a Roller Coaster Ride - TAPMI

I am one of those few lucky people in life who was blessed with a wonderful family. All my life I have been a recipient of constant support. With every class I wanted to take to every college I wanted to join it has been a smooth journey. There is a lot of effort put in from my side of course for the smoothness of it all, however I would not say they were challenges.
