Why challenges are good for us all
Challenge. A challenge can be viewed by people as many things, some consider it a difficulty, some a task and to some challenge just says, “I’m inevitable”, something for all the Avenger fans out there. To me challenge is just another opportunity provided by life to me to prove myself to MYSELF. Irrespective of the outcome of the challenge I know that I’ll always give my everything and that in its own is a huge bonus. As far as accepting challenges goes, I believe that’s the way forward in life for everyone looking to be better than what they have been today. Following is an account of my experience which taught me life is good when you work hard and enjoy what you do but its more enjoyable when you come across challenges and win over them.

ABGLP-From trading cotton to being in everyone's life- TAPMI
Aditya Birla Group is a Indian Conglomerate founded by Shiv Narayan Birla along with his son Baldeo Das Birla, with a vision of making India’s own Cotton based trading Industry during the 1850s when Indian Independence Revolution was about to be sparked. It was during the early era of 20 th century, when whole world was going through arduous experience of war, Birlas, under their Pioneer Ghanshyam Das Bilra rose to immense expansion due to rapid increase in demand of gunny bags, increasing the Groups net worth from 2 million to 8 Million within few years. By the end of 1930 group has its own Jute mill Birla Jute, several Cotton and Sugar Industries and have its own Publication, Textile, Automobile and chemical Industries by the 1950s. It was during the 1970s under the vision of Aditya Vikram that Birla group accquired the global status and expanded to telecommunications, textiles, petrochemicals setting up industries in South-East Asia. Under Aditya Birla’s vision the company has become the world’s largest producer of Viscose oil and Palm-Oil refiner and leading in Cement, Chemical , Aluminum making company’s revenue crossed 8000cr. Currently Birla Group is under the vision of KM Birla, operating in 35 countries with an employee base of 120K with revenues of $44 Billion in 2018 and has now reached Fashion and Finance Services along with many Esteemed Educational and Medical Institutes running under Birlas. Being an Indian, one can hardly be escaped from being touched by the Birlas. For me, the ABG’s cement Ultratech and the cellular Idea along with the Fashion house Pantaloons has the biggest impact. I still remember the old schools days when my ancestor’s home was being renovated and myriad of Ultratech sacks were lying in our courtyard ready to be molded and give us the house of our dream . The house holds all the sweet biiter memories with Ultratech lying in its every bits. I still remember when I passed the high school and moved to hostel, it was the first time I have to leave my home. Being the youngest member of the family it was tough for my family also. It was the time I got my first cell phone and guess what ,here also it was ABG who was my companion. With Idea providing the lowest call and SMS rates , it was natural for zero earning person like me to move it. Whenever I feel lonely, My Mother was just a call away from me. Whenever I needed guidance , I connect with my teachers and father. In the era when Internet was not for everyone, the Idea has provided me the calls at minimal rate to have all my doubts cleared over the phone. It’s all those sweet and bitter memories , motivational talks, all the laughs and wishes have made me the person I am. The Birlas were not just Industrialists they were also the greatest of the visionaries. They had foreseen all the situations and changes, invested in right industries at right time making India a Global Business force, Way before it was officially being tried by Indian Government.

Aditya Birla Group,” Well-known name and an Idea that changed our lives. Mr.Aditya Birla’s dream of setting a global business empire made the company what it is today. He was first to set Indian business on the world map long before the globalization became an essential buzzword in India. Aditya Birla Group is one of the respectable Indias Finest business houses. It has operations in 35 countries and has 120000 employees worldwide. ABG has significant importance in my life, knowingly and unknowingly. Primarily The Linen Club is the primary choice of a clothing brand for my father and me for summer. Pantaloons is my primary choice of shopping not only because of the variety of options but also because of the ambiance. Most of my favorite clothing brands belong to the ABG, only like Louis Philippe, Peter England, Allen Solly. Fun fact is I used to think Peter England is a foreign brand until a certain age because of its name and premium quality, but later realized it belongs to ABG and felt surprised and took pride as it pertains to an Indian company.UltraTechCement is truly the Engineers Choice cement because not only it is used for constructing minor projects but also major projects like Bandra-Worli sea link road, Bengaluru metro, and many more. UltraTechCement is not only the largest manufacturer of cement in India but also a significant exporter of cement from India. Birla Carbon is a leading manufacturer and supplier of black carbon additives. Most of the tire, rubber, plastic, ink, and paint industries globally use Birla carbon additives. Vodafone Idea limited is a leading telecom service provider in India and second largest globally. Even the marketing and advertisements of idea products are so unique and remarkable. All this glory begin from Aditya Birlas dream of bringing India in respectable position among developed nations. ABG how greater it reached it never neglected its CSR. They are doing various activities to bring change in many lives. In a nutshell, ABG is one of the major groups which kept Indian business on the world map. ABG brings light in many lives, which reflected in their logo as the sunrise. ABG logo stands for the symbol of hope, timeless values, and boundless optimism.

How Aditya Birla Group changed my perception of corporate companies
What does one hope to achieve in life after completion of under graduation? In about 80% of the cases they would want jobs, which instantly becomes a medium for them to show translation of knowledge to earning and stand tall on their two feet and say, “I am capable of it”. Believe me after 25 years of life I am yet to come across a professional feeling that gives you more happiness than seeing the words, “Salary Rs _____, deposited into your account ending…...” for the very first time.
