Role of Aditya Birla Group in my life - TAPMI

One word that would fit the bill to describe Aditya Birla Group is Pioneer . Yes , the literal meaning of the word makes absolute sense . They know how to tap into the markets really well . Starting with Cotton in the 1857 they have made huge progress and have always ensured to create the market disruptions in several industries across nations . It wouldn't be an understatement to say that they have spread across the world . The number of employees that are on their payroll is a clear indicator as to how global the group is .  My first mobile was powered by Idea . And I remember how competent they have always been in the Telecom sector. Where or which sector isn't AB group a part of is a tough question to ask someone . They are one of the world's largest Carbon Black manufacturers which is used in tyres and ink. So , I can't imagine how my life would have been if Aditya Birla group wasn't around always . I can surely say that my or as a matter of fact any Indian youngster's wardrobe will be complete without their outlets like Pantaloons , People , Peter England , Allen Solly , Van Heusen etc . They are one of the huge competitors to Indian Economy . I can clearly say that they played a huge role in my life as the group has always been an active contributor to the Nation's economy which indeed has resulted me in having a nice stable childhood and now when I am out in the open looking to develop my career .

Overcoming Challenges - TAPMI

Overcoming Challenges - TAPMI

Among the many challenges I have faced during my life, the challenge of being an introverted person in this happening and highly active world is the biggest challenge. For an extroverted person, starting a conversation with a stranger is a casual activity but for an introverted person it is a huge task.

Challenges Refined - TAPMI

The nature of the challenge is that it is series of challenges and with every challenge the task become narrower and the objective clearer. There is a time in everyone's life when your profession/method limits you from progress, when you master something than you always try to drive that process according to you but you can’t, in the search for why you start sort out weaknesses and start improving them , than you feel bounded in your own conditions due to those abilities which are not present in you but seeking to achieve and even you want to learn those to adopt and that is the point when you decide to come out from that nutshell and at that point you overcome your one weakness and accomplished one task by TAKING THE DECISION and this open you up against the another challenge to face which require the same process to follow but the thing which common is THE DECISION MAKING SKILLS. If you have taken wrong resolution than to make it right as Mr. Ratan Tata quoted “I don't believe in taking right decisions. I take decisions and then make them right” and this further opens up the new challenges in front of you, as challenges you face more you become refined and this will make you more decision efficient that will lead you a great leader and then to legend by the great decision making skills the person grow and the frim in which he work that will also grow.

Rising to glory-TAPMI

Rising to glory-TAPMI

We all live in a fast changing world. When the pace of change is so fast and the world is so dynamic, the challenges we face can be huge. One major challenge that I have faced is my anxiety. Anxiety is something that escalates every problem that comes your way. If twenty people face the same problem, the same problem will be bigger for a person with anxiety. Be it tests in school, competitions, talking to new people, trying out new things, fear of people judging you or interviews. The list is endless. Anxiety affects you in all sorts of ways. It can impact a person really deeply. It is like a burden on your head that always keeps on demotivating you. If somebody takes control of that burden and lifts it up to emerge and rise, it is a huge task and should be appreciated. I did just that. The past year has been really tough, there were a lot of challenges but I found ways to calm myself down. My friends and family supported me constantly through this. It might seem like a really easy thing to do, but its not. To think about not letting this particular feeling overpower anything you think or even you is something that can be really difficult. I can proudly say today that from my early years of school to my college years to my MBA life. I took control of my weakness and overpowered it and it landed me at my dream B school, TAPMI.

From Siliguri to Manipal: Onwards and Upwards - TAPMI

From Siliguri to Manipal: Onwards and Upwards - TAPMI

On 22 June 1995, in a small town of Siliguri in West Bengal, Mr Naresh Kumar Singhal and Mrs Shanta Singhal welcomed a baby girl in their lives. She slowly grew up with dreams about her life and career in her eyes. Her parents and family members too had dreams for her in their eyes. The contradicting dreams first surfaced when she wanted to move out of her home town for her graduation. But the required approvals were not granted citing reasons like ‘not good enough scores’ worth leaving the town, safety concerns and a conditioned assurance of allowing her to move out for post-graduation. After a few attempts of persuasion, she gave in. But the determination to fulfill the conditions was higher this time. She pulled up her socks and was ready to give in everything she could to move out for her post-graduation.
