What More do you need? - Nitin Saurabh, SIBM Pune

What More do you need? - Nitin Saurabh, SIBM Pune

Imagining life without Aditya Birla Group feels like the very last minutes of “Avengers: Infinity Wars”. For those who have not seen the movie, imagine a life without all the iconic ABG brands. No Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly or Peter England. No Pantaloons. No Grasim. No Freshwrapp. No more More. No Idea, sir jee. Re-imagining memories from such an uncherished past automatically pull my facial muscles into a frown.

Aditya Birla - the name itself showcases class, benevolence and quality in whichever Endeavour it embarks upon .The conglomerate has reached heights that are beyond optimal standards. The brand has increasingly taken center stage in our lives with the quality products they provide. Staring from the telecom sector to the fashion world, from construction industry to the insurance sector, this company is at the top for a reason .Beginning with the apparel sector, Peter England forms a core part of any man's wardrobe .I personally prefer Peter England because of its uniqueness and quality. It never fails to keep up with the latest trends and provides the perfect fit. From the trendy office wear to dapper casuals, it never ceases to amaze. Adding to this, their wide variety of accessories proves to be the icing on the cake. Apart from Peter England, I genuinely believe Louis Philippe is also a brand that needs special mentioning.  Sticking to its tagline-“the upper crest”, it makes sure that the customer feels the royalty. From the fabric to the fits, Louis Philippe never disappoints. Moreover the all-in-one retail store, MORE, owned by the Aditya Birla Group is every Indian’s go-to store for everyday needs. Not only do they provide the products at a comparative price, but they also make sure that there is never compromise on quality. I prefer MORE, because of their affordable prices, the convenience of shopping variety of products under one roof and the service quality the employees provide. They definitely stick to their motto-“quality first”. The leaders of the telecom sector, Vodafone Idea, has made the future exciting and YES WE ARE READY! The excellent coverage and the customer oriented packages is a great combination and the customers are, no doubt, instantly drawn to it. Aditya Birla has also made its presence felt in the development of the country’s infrastructure, as Ultratech Cement is every engineer’s choice. It is the leading building material distributor with a portfolio of products ranging from grey cement to white cement and ready mix concretes which aids a variety of needs and applications. In the end, the above mentioned products are just a small segment of the bigger picture. Aditya Birla Group has not only made an impact on my life, but also on the entire country and the economy.

When I was 10 years old, I was introduced to super markets and then I got to hear different brands. Multi national brands, which I did not even know what, they meant. I remember my 10th birthday my parents gifted me my first branded clothes from pantaloons children section. I wore that outfit for my next 3 years. The special thing is the memories that I got which are saved in the pictures from my childhood. I still remember wearing the same outfit for most of the actives because I loved it so much. That outfit from Pantaloons will always be close to my heart for the flash back I get whenever I see the pictures. When I got into the college I wanted to have a transformation of my wardrobe. I had a complete transformation as I bought at least 10 shirts from Allen Solly as I really liked their shirts collection. I really helped me be more confident as a lot of people complemented me on the good shirt. I felt more confident and I wanted to buy more shirts. I still remember I really liked one shirt and I did not have enough money to buy it. After a few months, my parents gifted me that shirt as they saw how much I wanted that shirt. It was probably one of the best gifts someone has ever gifted me. When I was coming to SIBM for my interview, I had no formal shirts as being a fresher I never had a chance to use them. I bought a lot of formal shirts from Peter England and I believe they are one of my lucky shirts as I got selected into this college.  I really liked the formal shirt collection, which they offered.

As a 10 year kid, I was never satisfied with what I got. I always wanted something extra. Hence, I started asking my parents for MORE than what I had. Papa, I need more chocolates, maa I need more chips, grandpa I want more ice-cream. The only solution for all my constant nagging was the MORE SUPERMARKET close to our house. The one place where I could always get more of what I wanted at that age. It is still a place where I go to groceries from. It was one supermarket which used to open at 7am in the morning, 15 minutes before I got onto my school bus. It was my nth minute stationary shop, last minute snacks shop and also my parents go-to store to buy me requirements.
