How Adiya Birla group is important?

Aditya Birla Group is an Indian Multinational headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India. It operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide.[7] The group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. This group is spread across almost all fields. Whether it be cement, carbon, textile, fashion, telecom services and finance, it has always been a leading company. It also provides major employee base to 1,20,000 people.  Today, whatever we buy or wherever we go is somehow connected. Personally, being a fashion enthusiast ABG fashion companies like Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Louis Phillipe and Peter England provides me with large variety of formals. Being an MBA student formals are necessary for me.

Freshwrapp- An elixir to growing up- ABGLP- SIBM Bengaluru

Having spent close to two months in the college hostel and juggling academics along with deadlines and mind-numbing assignments, my longing for home-cooked food has grown manifold. Which makes me ponder over how similar MBA and school were, with a major common component i.e, food. Recess was my favourite time during school and it still continues to be, however one product that has been though the test of time is Freshwrapp. Keeping the food nice and warm and being a part of so many conversations, blossoming friendships and emotional transitions, Freshwrapp has been a part and parcel of my life, right from school to when I started working on my first job.

It didn't get easier, I got tougher!

It didn't get easier, I got tougher!

Yes! Life doesn’t get easier. As we grow up, it keeps on getting complicated day by day. I still remember my first day in eighth standard. I felt that life couldn’t get tougher than this. Little did I know, how wrong I was. The biggest challenge back then in school was history, now MBA has taken it’s place.

My Life and ABG - IMT Ghaziabad

Aditya Birla Group (ABG) is a conglomerate that has a vast variety of brands in various industries under its umbrella. I remember walking into the stores of Van Heusen in Connaught Place hundreds of times as a child as it was my father's favourite brand for shirts. I also remember my mother wrapping my school lunch in Freshwrapp foil or standing in front of the first house my parents built with huge bags of Ultratech cement lying around. At that time, little did I know that I was witnessing the brands of one of the biggest companies in the world. From capturing clothing market in India with brands like Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England, Forever 21, etc. to venturing into ecommerce with ABOF (of which I was among the first few buyers), from building materials to metals and, not to forget, finance, ABG has done it all and been successful at it. It wasn't very long back when I was thinking about investing in Aditya Birla mutual funds (high returns, of course!), which I eventually couldn't do as I left my job soon after.
