Growing up as an introverted child, I faced a lot of challenges during my schooling. It soon became clear to me that although what my parents told were true, I would have to face a lot of obstacles on the way.
Being a student of a business school and being a candidate who was always into achieving great heights and who wanted to venture a career into marketing and sales Aditya Birla Group is a name that comes immediately to the my mind as its accent and achievement into this field, it was understood to be revisiting the strategy for its retail businesses which could result in greater long-term emphasis on apparel retailing, according to sources close to the development. Since the start, I was an enthusiastic candidate in terms of marketing and selling and the story goes since childhood. I feel that everyone has a limited time on this planet Earth and the greatest invention is the creation and production of the products and things which made the people feel that their limited time is slightly longer and Aditya Birla group has been into the production and the delivery of financial services and wealth management and these are one of the main services that can be provided to the humanity. Any business established in this world and still developing need business solutions and advice and require to thrive well and Aditya Birla Group is performing extremely well in this domain and how did this impact my life is that at one point in my life I also want to be an entrepreneur and have my own business and surely it will help me in great magnitude. I come from a humble background, my father is a first generation lawyer and mother, a homemaker. I started my primary education from a village school while I was staying with my grandparents. After sometime my parents decided to shift me to an urban English medium school at the age of 7. My exposure to challenge started from there, where apart from elevating myself academically I had to adjust myself in the complete new environment. Interacting and making friends seemed a herculean task in itself. I then devised a plan with the help of my grandfather who used to tell me stories of his challenges and how he conquered them, he advised me to take every challenge as an opportunity to move ahead, learn new things and grow. Every challenge brings with itself an innate learning, I have to grasp that learning with both hands and apply that in similar future situations.
Growing up in a middle-class family, I learned how to value money since an early age. I realised my responsibilities and I was constantly motivated by the irreplaceable satisfaction that comes after achieving the set goals despite the roadblocks. In college I was involved in activities that came with challenges and strong competitions. As I had to manage these extra-curricular activities and my regular college simultaneously, time management was learnt hands-on. Moreover, the extra-curricular activities imposed additional expenses. So I learnt to manage my expenses including my college fees, hostel fees, mess bill from the merit based scholarship that I received. These years taught me to invest money wisely and it laid the foundation for my future.
Challenges I overcame to achieve my ambitions in life so far
Today, We all are running to achieve our goals, but what are our true goals?? Do we care about where are we heading? What are we going to pursue in our life? Before starting your new career kindly, try to find out the answers for these questions. I have done B.Tech in Computer Science because I don't have answers to these questions at that time. But, as soon as I got the answers to these questions, I applied for PGDM & MBA from Universal Business School, Mumbai.
