To counter that narrative, we have three FORE School of management students today with us, to talk about their journey of being a professional shooter, award-winning sailor, and published author to pursuing an MBA. With 45% female faculty members, more than 40% female students in a batch, and students coming in from 24 different states with 15 varied educational backgrounds, FORE School of Management is proud of its diversity. NITIE Mumbai has successfully completed the summer placements process for its PGDIM and PGDISEM class of 2022. A total of 124 companies participated in the summer placements process at NITIE, including top brands like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, HUL, P&G, Nestle, Google, Amazon, General Electric, and Asian Paints amongst others. More than three quarters of the batch received a six-figure stipend, and nearly half the batch received over 2 lakhs as stipend for the entire duration of the internship. The urban unemployment rate had more than doubled to 20.9% in the period April-June 2020 from the 9.1% in the corresponding quarter in 2019, data released by the government showed. Young workers upto the age of 29 years were particularly more susceptible as urban unemployment in this age group was 34.7%!
