Things You Should NOT Do In GD And PI

After you finish giving your XAT, CAT, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT, MICAT, TISSNET and other entrance tests, the next thing you need to do is prepare for Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). GD and PI are important because your performance in these two rounds are the ultimate deciding factors that can make or break your MBA dream. Hence, preparing for GD/PI is as important as preparing for entrance exams. But, all top business colleges have their own way of conducting GD and PI. How can one keep up with all of that? The truth is you can’t! However, there are few things that you should NEVER do in a GD/PI round unless you want to get disqualified and give up on your dream. In this article, you can expect some obvious and not so obvious “Don’ts” you need to be aware of while preparing for group discussions and personal interviews. Read this article to know more.

Most Underrated Month for B-school Preparation: The Make or Break December

It is December, technically the last month of the year but not the last for those toiling hard to convert a B-school in 2020. So let me start by asking you a question. Which among the following are you? “I was a CAT & IIFT aspirant. The exams didn’t go according to my plans. I recollected myself and planning to give another shot at the OMETs.” “I still have hopes from CAT & IIFT but want to perform better in OMETs.” “I am almost sure of converting the top IIMs, so sitting idle and waiting for the results.” “I am planning to take CAT 2020.” If you could relate yourself to any of these, this article is meant to give you a direction of making the best use of the most neglected month of preparation i.e. December.

Tips To Prepare For Group Discussion And Personal Interview

Hey Amigos! Done with CAT and IIFT? I know multiple emotions are floating around but now is not the time to think about all that. It is time to buckle up and start preparing for GD-PI. I know IIM's have scrapped the GD Process but still, many Top B-SCHOOLS conduct GD/CD PI. The following are a few points that helped me to prepare for GD-PI:

How To Crack WAT-GD-PI Post CAT

How To Crack WAT-GD-PI Post CAT

It’s that time of the year. Every MBA aspirant is revising formulas of the quant section, taking and analysing as many mocks they can. Some are pondering why their marks in the verbal section are not improving, some are enquiring in Iquanta who all are there in the same slot as of them on the D-Day. Believe me – we all have gone through the same set of ordeals. After one month or so, you’ll all appear for CAT/XAT/IIFT/SNAP, for some examinations will be good, for some they will be bad. You’ll start matching answers from TIME, IMS, CL and if you don’t, no worries. You’ll find it out soon in the first or second week of January. But the question is will a good CAT/XAT/IIFT/SNAP score only be enough to secure admission in a premier B-school of the country?
