IIM Indore | Class of 2027 | Dentist Turned MBA Aspirant If someone had told me a year ago that I’d crack CAT and join an IIM, I probably would’ve smiled politely and gone back to my dental notes.
When you grow up surrounded by the best engineering talent, all you can hold on to are tech and mechanics. Witnessing my parents excel at IOCL, I was naturally drawn to a career in engineering. But my ambitions extended beyond what was in front of me. I painted. I sang. I acted. I played different sports.
I started my CAT preparation around March–April 2024 with Rodha’s free YouTube videos. Those videos helped me build my basics and gave me the confidence to begin seriously. Later, I took the paid subscription for Rodha’s online coaching.With that, I began watching in-depth classes regularly and attempted topic-wise tests to check my understanding. I also practiced from the study materials provided by Rodha, which were very helpful. Around June–July 2024, I took my first mock test. It showed me where I stood and what I needed to improve. From that point onward, I stayed consistent with practice, learned from my mistakes, and kept pushing myself.After giving the CAT exam, the next challenge was the GD-PI process. It was intense and required focused preparation. With proper guidance and support, I gave my best in every interview. And today, I feel proud and excited to share that I’m finally joining IIM Lucknow—a dream come true!A big thank you to Ravi Sir and the Rodha team for being a constant support throughout this journey.
