Spondylitis Almost Shattered My Dreams, MBA Gave Me Hope - Dr. Chintan Gala, IIM Shillong

Dr. Chintan Gala is a dentist from Bombay who had cleared his medical entrance exams but couldn’t do his MBBS because of a condition that he developed suddenly before his results were declared. He had developed ankylosing spondylitis, which not only caused him severe pain but threatened to affect his ability to walk. His dream of becoming a doctor ended the day his family doctor broke the news to him. He didn’t know if he would forever lose his mobility or not.

Illumina, the disguised market research club of MDI, has been providing companies with that unique opportunity to study consumer behaviour for 23 years, in a format that aims to produce the cleanest and most bias-free incites from Market Research. In the past, Illumina had the honour of collaborating with brands like HUL, Godrej, ITC, Airtel, Flipkart, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Hewlett Packard, Idea Cellular, Videocon and ITC to name a few.
