Imagine a world where labour is obsolete, where fear to failure is something of past, but miraculously, everything about your child's education is better than ever before. No, we are not talking about a class run by robots, we are talking about a Mumbai based edugaming venture Eduisfun harnessing the power of games for education because there are a lot of things we can learn from games to make that world happen. Eduisfun is founded by IIT Alumnus (Co-founders Praveen Tyagi & Jatin Solanki) and is devoted to the concept of game-based learning. It aims to make learning fun, easy & accessible to everyone through games. In general parents and students focus more on their grade rather than on fundamental skills.
No one is a perfect leader but some leaders are definitely better than others. While there are some leaders who are role models for others, there are others who may have good business sense but don’t really make for the best leaders. And that could be a result of some things that they fail to do right or don’t do at all.
Having spent 27 years of my life working for large organizations, I recently embarked on a journey of working for myself. For many people who take this plunge early in their career, perhaps it is simpler. There is less at stake. And, the passion of youth can help you ride through a lot of the struggle that this could entail!
We bring to you an interesting conversation with Harshal Vora, Founder of RadioLocus, a start-up which aims at delivering brick-and-mortar stores what Google Analytics gives online retailers. Wi-Fi is used to understand consumer movement and behaviour within indoor locations. In this conversation, he shares with us some great insights about his product and own experiences.
“How should I find resources to fuel the growth of the sustainable economy and preserve the sovereignty of the nation?” This should have been my central theme if I was the Finance Minister.
You long for it – to become an entrepreneur. Flexible working hours, being your own boss, hiring people to work for you and no office politics. Wherever you go, people ask how your business is doing. You say it’s slow but picking up, and their eyes fill up with respect. Does that life sound amazing?
