A business school basically serves to ready you for a career in management and fast tracks your career in the corporate world by providing you with the perfect launch pad. So whether it is the perfect investment banking opportunity or a sales stint in an FMCG, whether it a Leadership development programme in your dream company or a product development role at a leading tech startup- a business school offers you with an opportunity to achieve your target. What one can safely conclude from here is that management education readies you to work in the capacity of an employee. But off late we have been seeing a trend where business schools are nurturing serious entrepreneurs intent on being the employer of choice rather than an employee of possible choice.

Alumni And Allies Association (A4) of IIM Udaipur organized the first ever alumni meet of the Class of 2013 of IIMU, FlashBack. The meet was organized on 1st March, 2014 in the campus. Flashback was organized with the motive of creating a feeling of déjà vu for the pioneers and to initiate a process of building an ever growing network of IIMU graduates. The meet had been organized as a day-long event so as to enable maximum interaction among the pioneers and the students within the IIMU fraternity.
The summer placement process for the 2013-15 batch of the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) has been successfully completed. The success is strongly attributed to the faith and confidence reposed on IIMT’s students by recruiters. In addition, the success also bears testimony to the skill and perseverance of IIMT’s people―its students and faculty.
Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur, takes great honor in announcing the successful completion of the Summer Placements 2013-14. The institute once again takes pride in 100% summer placements in spite of 11% increase in batch size. This season saw participation of several reputed organizations across various sectors such as Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), FMCG, Consulting, E-Commerce, Pharmaceutical / Healthcare, Retail, Energy and Conglomerates among others. BFSI emerged as the largest sector making offers to 25% of the batch.
