When the pandemic hit, there were immediate ramifications on placements at even the most revered IIMs: students lost out on internships, recent graduates lost out on jobs or had their joining dates deferred for a painfully long time which left them in a limbo, and the degree of salary revisions and paycuts (if any) is unknown. Throughout the first half of the extraordinary year, surveys revealed the reluctance in hiring amongst recruiters, and the news of layoffs and paycuts across organizations as well as a looming threat of recession added to the growing uncertainty amongst job-seekers and professionals. Highest-Ever Average CTC Of 26.2 LPA At FMS Delhi || Final Placement Report Batch of 2019-21

Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi has concluded the final placement process in virtual mode for the 214 students of the batch of 2019-21 with the highest CTC of 58.8 LPA. 102 companies participated in the final placements process at FMS Delhi, with 84 companies making 228 offers. Despite the difficulties due to COVID Pandemic and economic slowdown, the institute continued its rich legacy of achieving 100% placements with highest-ever average CTC of 26.2 LPA and the median package stood at 24 LPA with average package of the top quartile being 38.56 LPA. The institute received its highest ever number of PPOs and a whopping 36% increase in the number of Product Management offers being made as compared to last year. For the first time, 77% of the offers were above 20 LPA with an average CTC of the top 100 offers at 31.8 LPA. The average CTC for female candidates also increased to 26.4 LPA.
