He went on hiding his emotions and sexuality for years, till he got posted as an engineer at Tata Steel in Jamshedpur. He started meeting gay men thanks to a dating app in Jamshedpur and that is when he came to know more about his sexuality. His idea about the LGBTQ community got further shaped up through various interactions within the Tata Steel Group, which gave him courage to finally come out of the metaphorical closet.
