With 9.6 CGPA in 10th, 91.6% in 12th (CBSE, both), I didn’t know what to do with failure but even though I felt helpless, there came a point when I felt nothing, as if the entire passion for marks, for academics, that I had harboured since I was a little kid reciting poems and stories perfectly to teachers, to parents, and to strangers had suddenly collapsed, and I strangely, felt relieved.
