She bought them from the first competition she won and since then, they have given wings to her dreams. The soles give life to her soul. Every move of her ankle, every break and pop of her bones, every flip of her hair makes an explosion. She believes in herself. She is me.

"My World, My Way" - A Lesson Learnt - Aarushi Gupta, MDI Gurgaon
It is about year 2016. It was a great year. I was selected as the Joint Secretary of Students’ Executive Body of my graduation college. We were preparing day and night for the annual corporate seminar of the college. I managed to arrange for Mumbai Dabbawalas as one of the guest speakers for the event. This was appreciated a lot by faculty and students. Hence, this event was close to my heart and I was looking forward to it. I was so excited to buy a business suit for this event. I searched for the same online as well as visited some brands offline but struggled to find a suit for myself. However, the market was flooded with business suits for men.

I remember the time I got my own personal mobile phone, it was in class 11th, my parents gave it to me as a reward, for my performance it class 10th boards. It had a preinstalled SIM card and yes you guessed it right, I was an Idea Cellular SIM. For me, the phone was a taste of independence, as now I had my own personal number and my friends could reach out to me directly instead of calling up on the landline and requesting my mom to give it to me. One’s own phone number is a personal thing and I am glad that I got it from Idea Cellular. I still have that number and have used it ever since. Talking about the old days is making me feel nostalgic about the lunch hour at school. All major apparel brands Van Heusen, Louis Phillippe, Allen Solly, Peter England belong to it. My Dad is a loyal customer of Louis Philippe. That’s the only brand he prefers for his shirts. He even suggested that to me when I was buying clothes for my office wear. I bought them and they are great shirts by the way. Also ABG introduced to India, the major international fashion brands like Forever 21, Ted Baker and Simon Carter. My sister is a big fan of Forever 21 products and I love them too. Also how can I forget about Pantaloons, India’s largest fashion retail store, one stop shop for your all clothing needs. So ABG has definitely made a big impact on my life. I wonder if there could be any other brand with such a wide array of products catering to all the consumer needs.
