In mid-June this year, I joined the Human Resource Management and Labour Relations programme at TISS Mumbai with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm, it was not only the start of a new chapter in my life but there was also a sense of achievement as only a lucky few get to be a part of the prestigious programme every year. The first few days at the institute were marked not just by new friendships, an orientation session and introductory lectures on HRM but also by guest lectures and a field visit to Larsen and Toubro. However, with June nearing its end, we eagerly waited for our Fieldwork Companies to be allotted and as soon as the companies were announced most of us beamed with joy as people were getting to intern with big corporate names like Reliance, Vodafone, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Power, Godrej, Axis Capital and even PSUs like BPCL and HPCL.
Today, we bring to you the summer internship selection process experience of Utkarsh Dangayach, Class 2015-2017, IIM Lucknow. He did his summer internship with Hindustan Unilever, London division. He shares his interview process and a basic marketing preparation guideline.
Placement Report 2016: The placement season at SCMS Cochin School of Business got off to a strong start and ended with astounding energy. Danish Xavier, student of SCMS Cochin PGDM 23 – Class of 2014-2016, believes that teamwork has been instrumental in his learning and growth as a budding professional. Now that he has been placed as a Sales Management Trainee with Coffee Day Beverages in Bangalore, he plans to invoke that team spirit at work. According to him, this trait and every other skill he has gained at the B-school will help him work towards being a successful professional

M.Sc. Finance programme is the first of its kind Masters’ degree in finance offered in India by JBIMS, on the recommendations of Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and UGC. Since its inception, the course has shaped numerous “Future Finance Leaders”.
