When pioneers meet, what follows is a highly gripping discussion. 27th September was one of those afternoons in IIM Indore, Mumbai Campus, when three eminent people from the HR domain met to discuss on the topic “Integrating HR strategy with business strategy.” The panelists included Mr. Harjeet Khanduja, VP-HR at Reliance Jio; Mr. Prasanth Nair, Managing partner and Country Head at Inhelm Leadership Solutions and Mr. Charanjit Pati, Head HR at Reliance Project Management Group. The discussion was moderated by Prof. Meenakshi Aggarwal Gupta, IIM  Indore.

“I have always had the passion for teaching. I like interacting with people and inspiring bright young minds, in particular. That’s the reason that, as soon as I completed by PhD, I decided to move from my corporate career to academics,” says Dr. C. Sengottuvelu, Professor and Head of Consultancy Division at SCMS group. IIM Shillong successfully hosts EmergE 2015 - Annual Entrepreneurship Summit

EmergE 2015, the annual entrepreneurship summit of IIM Shillong was held on 19th-20th September 2015. This summit was organized by i-Cube - the Entrepreneurship Cell of IIM Shillong which is rooted in the concept—Envision. Engage. Evolve.—and aims to stimulate an entrepreneurial drive in the participants of management education. The chief guest of the summit was Shri M. Rajeshwar Rao, Chief General Manager at the Reserve Bank of India, who inaugurated the event and also launched the Incubator magazine.

Faculty members of FORE to collaborate, learn and share with University of Vietnam

FORE School of Management, New Delhi based premium B-School signs MOU, with University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City and other top universities of Vietnam to promote academic collaboration.The Institute is undertaking a study tour to Vietnam and visit Ho Chi Minh City from 26th to 29th September 2015. The group will comprise of Faculty, Director and President, Board of Directors of the institute. Every year faculty group at FORE, comprising of learned experts in diverse fields of management and economics, undertakes a country specific study tour to learn and share developments in business and industry with academicians and industry experts of the host country. Study tours have been undertaken to Italy, China, Uzbekistan, Thailand, UAE and Malaysia in the recent past.

Mr. Aditya  Bhamidipaty, Co-founder and CEO, eMart Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., visited IIM Indore Mumbai Campus to interact with the participants on 13th September 2015. Mr.Bhamidipaty, an IIM-A alumnus has worked with P&G and iGate Global Solutions Ltd. Later in 2009, he co-founded eMart Solutions with an idea of it being a one-stop shop for marketers.

Mr. C.V George, Former General Manager, RBI, delivers an engaging talk on the Indian Economy at SCMS Cochin School of Business

Students of SCMS Cochin School of Business recently had the privilege of listening to and learning from the experiences of a former General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India. Mr. C.V George, a leading light in the world of Finance, came to campus to deliver a talk on “Indian Economy and Indian Financial Sector”. As was expected, there was a lot of buzz on campus that day as students packed the venue for the event, which turned out to an eye-opening experience for all in attendance.
