After graduation Ciril joined his father’s company as COO to manage the operations vertical.

NITIE Alumni Meet - Sansmaran 2014
‘The pain of parting is nothing compared to the joy of meeting again’. These words came to life in Sansmaran 2014 – The Annual Alumni meet of National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai better known as NITIE. NITIE completed 50 remarkable years of its journey of providing industrial excellence in 2013 and the event marked a continuance of the celebrations. “Sansmaran”- literally meaning reminiscence is the vantage point for the alumni to relive memories of their enriching days at NITIE and to reconnect with their alma mater.

In the recently organized Dewang Mehta awards, Ms. Sanchita Agarwal, PGDM student of IFIM Business School won the Dewang Mehta’s Second Best Management Girl Student award with a cash prize of Rs 75000.

The Curator for the very successful TEDxIIMShillong 2014 event and Second Year PGDM student of IIM Shillong, Ms. Prachi Agarwal, had won a scholarship to attend the 2014 TEDGlobal Conference in October 2014 in Rio, Brazil.

IIM Shillong pays tribute to Late Manjunath Shanmugam on his 9th Death Anniversary
The faculty and the students of IIM Shillong paid homage to Mr. Manjunath Shanmugam on his ninth death anniversary by conducting a candlelight march. Once again, like last year, IIM Shillong joined hands with the Manjunath Shanmugam Trust to undertake the pledge of integrity to fight corruption. Over 100 students gathered at around 6:30 pm to participate in the march and offer their heartfelt condolences and respect to this great personality. The march was preceded by a speech which eulogized Mr. Manjunath Shanmugam as a true inspiration. This was followed by a pledge of commitment taken by the students to uphold integrity at any cost and not succumb to corruption. The students then set off on the candle march from IIM Shillong Campus to the church in Nongthymmai where the candles were placed around a large photo of Mr. Manjunath followed by a minute of silence.
