As John F. Kennedy famously remarked, “A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on”. World-changing ideas and their successful implementation have brought our species to the pinnacle of the evolutionary pyramid. It is this cornerstone of civilization that IIM Indore celebrated through TEDxIIMIndore with ‘Ideating Minds’ being the central theme of the event. The event featured noted speakers who delivered brief and impactful TEDx talks that inspired the community to break away from the rat race and pursue excellence in their chosen fields.

Academic Scholarships Awards and Student Council Investiture Function at IIM Udaipur
IIM Udaipur strives to encourage the enthusiasm and dedication among the students by recognizing and appreciating the talent from the student fraternity who have excelled in their devotion, work, commitment and performance in various strata towards taking forward the IIMU legacy. IIMU Community comprising the students, staff and the faculty got together to award the recipients of Academic Scholarships in a function organized on 6th March, 2014. The awards were presented by the faculty and Prof. Janat Shah, Director – IIMU. The awards were not limited to only academic achievements but also covered the Course Representatives, best Club / Committee SPOC and the best Library users. The felicitation list preparation was helped by the Academic Council of IIMU.

The Students’ Research Committee of the institute is organizing the same. Symposio 2014 aims to provide a platform for the students to showcase their intellectual insights on current management scenarios. The theme for “Symposio 2014” is “Big Data Analytics: Transforming Businesses from Reactive to Proactive”

SOIL Students learn leadership through music - Sarod Maestro, Ayaan Ali Khan performs at SOIL
School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL) had the privilege to host the Sarod Maestro Ayaan Ali Khan, the younger son and disciple of one of the 20th century’s greatest masters of the Sarod - Amjad Ali Khan. Ayaan delivered a mesmerizing performance and awestruck SOIL students with his presence. This performance was part of the SPIC MACAY Fest 2014 series. SOIL being SPIC MACAY’s key partner in Gurgaon, led this event as an endeavor to teach the practice of ‘Mindfulness’ to young leaders through music.
