For The Third Time, ICFAI Business School Wins Dark Side CASE Award In An Event Organised By AOM

ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad has won the prestigious “Dark Side CASE Award” for the third time. The event was organized by the Critical Management Studies division of Academy of Management (AOM).  78th conference of the AOM  was held in in Chicago from 10th August to 14th August 2018, where ICFAI grabbed the award for the CASE “Ashley Madison Hacking and the Ethics of Hacktivism” written by Dr. Debapratim Purkayastha, Ms. Syeda Maseeha Qumer and Mr. Koti Vinod Babu. Another CASE which make into the final was “United Airlines Inc.: The Manhandling Incident” written by Dr. Vijaya Narapareddy (University of Denver), Ms. Qumer and Dr. Purkayastha was also a Finalist in the competition.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Bangalore organized a walkathon on August 12, 2018. It saw an enthusiastic group of over 300 people walking through Kormangala streets at 2 in the afternoon to support the cause of the hunger disparity.
