33rd Edition of InSight Special Lecture on "Context-Aware Research Adventures" by Dr. Raghav V Sampangi, Instructor, Faculty of Computer Science; Faculty Associate, Center for Learning and Teaching, Dalhousie University, Canada on 29 December 2016 at MYRA School of Business.
On the indelible Wednesday evening of 21st December 2016, the Venetian Gothic architecture of the Mumbai University campus at Fort witnessed numerous ovations for nearly two continuous hours. Esteemed and illustrious stalwarts of the industry, distinguished alumni & elite faculty of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), and students of JBIMS along with those of other respectable b-schools had gathered in the convocation hall of Mumbai University to celebrate two memorable occasions – autonomy of JBIMS and launch of its Leaders Speak series, with the first lecture by Dr. Nitin Nohria, Dean of the Harvard Business School.
The Business School of VIT University, one of the most popular and sought after University in India among the private Universities in India, has opened it Applications for the MBA Program. Consistently ranked as one of top 3 B-Schools in South of India, VIT Business School offers UG, PG and Ph.D programmes in Management.
Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) has a rich legacy of Management Education which has been built over five decades since its inception in 1962. TSM offers a choice of management education streams: the PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) Programme and the MBA (Master of Business Administration), fully residential programs approved by the AICTE and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and recognised by AIU. IFMR Chennai, now in Sri City, which has been a preferred destination for students aspiring for cutting-edge management education, received the letter of intent from the Andhra Pradesh State government for a Private University.
At last, the time has come. In a little over a week now, no one will ask the guard in LAW Hostel of IIM Udaipur for music room keys, no one will crib about someone drinking some leftover Coke in MDS Hostel fridge and there will be no frantic calls to ST Hostel asking “Is the Printer working?” How do you explain the feeling of leaving the rented place you grew up in for a house of your own? It takes so much to make homes of houses. Last one and a half years, I grew into someone else here. As the day of shifting inches closer, there is excitement, slightly soured with very poignant vivid memories of walking into this campus the very first time. The academic block – pristine and beautiful. A few days ago, it was almost hard to believe something better awaited a few kilometers away and I involuntarily looked at the reception area where a familiar old face smiled back - would good old Tiwari ji be shifting with us?
