I had initially started preparing for SSC CGL and took a rather unconventional pathway to land up in a B-School. Given the myriad of choices to chose amongst, I had always been confused about what to settle for and focus on. Every pathway seemed just as lucrative as the other. With SSC delaying the examination dates incessantly, I decided to give all the Indian management school entrance exams and the GRE-IELTS combo.
As an aspirant of the coveted IIMs, I had always set my eyes on CAT as the most important examination. During the course of 5 months of my preparation, I had managed to score well in my mocks, but the performance on the D-Day wasn't good enough to get me into any IIMs.
