I write today about the joy that Aditya Birla Group gave to few thousands of people a couple of years back when we, the people of Siliguri enjoyed arrival of a brand before the people of kolkata. Forever 21, an exclusive online and offline rights obtained from American fast fashion retailer Forever 21 in India. Always adamant about fashion, I often go along with my family to visit new brands and shop till I drop. Forever 21 gave this platform for both me and my sister. Also, being a native of this small town, we never got to taste newer opportunities first. But, this time the case was different and Siliguri tasted the arrival of Forever 21 before Kolkata.

I have been from the village and i have seen and feel how the Ultra Tech cement industry had played a key role in development and transformed the kutcha house to pukka house. so i can say it is the part of family and build a better, sustainable way of life for the weaker sections of society. It grewed enormously and making the huge impact in various sector, group has interests in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbonblack, chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services. It has mark their way in fashion by delivering high quality customer experience through various brands such as Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England and reached to People via their individual brand stores and through other multi brand outlets. India’s first billion-dollar fashion powerhouse which sells 2 garments every second. I was a very studious guy till my twelfth standard. But life changed after getting into engineering. I lost track of academics, but i did find a different me, exploring new things, habits. In the process of finding a new me, i lost a part of my old me. I was in a impression, whats the point of being studious, it pushes us to be in the “rat race”. Well i ended up with no knowledge of engineering. I passed out with low GPA,but that never mattered to me. Then comes the time, the unemployment period, was lying idle at home for 6 months, not knowing what to do. I wanted to do something badly , i started working in a BPO. Then i quit BPO cause i realised i was not going anywhere. Then did a sales job for a couple of months. Job did not suit and i resigned. Back to the same point of uncertainty. Then gave cat and got into IMT Ghaziabad.
