Being a son on an SBI employee, you’ve got to learn one basic principle – Never get attached to a city or its people. This philosophy did catch up to me even after some serious resistance. Please don’t mistake me for a person devoid of emotions, I am just a guy who is extremely practical about the choices that I have. And this venturous life of mine eventually made me believe that I am not a person who can carry a long distance relationship. Yes I am a possessive boyfriend, I fear the alpha males around my girl but my biggest fear is to lose track and wrong my commitments.

There have been lot of challenges in my life which I always welcomed. There is no fun if no uncertainty . There were challenges in every part of my life from schooling to getting into the one of the best B schools. Perseverance nature helped me overcome all that came to my way. The biggest challenge was when I had to implement ERP in an organisation where they had already failed twice. It was a tough task and make sure all are aligned with systems. Keeping everyone motivated, Making everyone understand the system with proper dedication and hard work helped in successful implementation of system within 6 months.

Forever 21, a US based brand acquired by the Aditya Birla Group, came to my locality, my hometown in Mumbai when I was a mere 16 year old girl who had just stepped into the teenage roller coaster years of my life. Up until the teen years rolled in, I was a child and that is why I only used to shop wherever my mother used to drag me by hand and buy them for me without too much of a thought from my end.

Like a mountaineer who can appreciate the magnitude of his climb once he has safely reached the basecamp on return, overcoming a challenge can only be realized when you look at it in the rearview mirror of your journey of life. This is a story about how I overcame self-doubt, low self-confidence, and other factors to join the college of my dreams - RV College of Engineering.

Aditya Birla Group is active in 14 industry sectors and has also achieved national leadership in several businesses. It is least likely for any Indian to not have come across or used products that are from this group. Since the time when we started to go to school, we have been using something very basic i.e. Freshwrap, freshpakk and superwrap to pack our food in the tiffin boxes. Some of the ABG brands that I have used in my life are Pantaloons, Allen Solly, Van Huesen, Forever 21, Liva, People, etc.
