My short stint at MDI could be expressed as Breathtaking, Joyful, Introspective and of Corse an Interacting one. The uniqueness about MDI what I felt till now is that no matter how tiring or hectic your schedule is you will tend to find time for your passion and if no passion will now, I am sure you will develop one over here, With even professors playing during evening and also getting defeated by their students at sports shows the love for passion and drive to learn is present in every brick and corner of this MDI campus.
My personal experience is somewhat on the similar lines, I have a passion for cricket though my ligaments do not allow me so but the bond developed between me and the pitch of cricket is kind of irrevocable, but the big sole feature of life ‘Hastiness and Paucity of time’ occurred and I lost a connection to my passion but my stint at MDI made me learn how to prioritise things and also to do find some time for yourself.
Another uniqueness that I felt about the culture of the campus is that their Cooperation in the competition, though it seems to be kind of irony but Yes! Everyone thus teach or make effort in the growth of his peer too, For example being a commerce graduate fresher I am not so good in technology and MS office, my engineer peers though they are packed with assignments and deadlines, still they will make effort to make me learn the MS office and the required technical stuff I ask for. Be it senior, professor or even your batch mate, if you want to learn something they are kind of available 24*7 and in their priority list teaching you, would be one of the most prominent things. The overall culture of MDI is such that you will tend to compete with yourself, you will strive for better I and even after a short stint of one month I could proudly say that yes! I have improved but still a lot is to come. This competitive and motivating culture is something which makes MDI – The unique campus in India.
The Aditya Birla Group brand which I want to work for is ‘Peter England’. Basically the things which make this brand unique is it’s ‘Honest positioning’ policy. From launching the brand in 1997 till now, the brand is known about its famous quality and also the marketing innovations, for example, introducing shirts inspired by Madhubani paintings and also the eco-friendly jeans are some of the examples of Brand innovative marketing strategies. The reason I want to work for this brand is that first I am marketing personality and the way Peter England marketed and created its brand perception is something to learn and experience about, also considering my whole professional background related to the retail sector, I can add a lot of value proposition to the brand and also my never-ending spirit of learn and grow, could be preached at Peter England. Moreover, the vision of the Peter England is to be the Single largest clothing brand in India with everyone man out of two being related to Peter England, this vision and goal show the learning and growth opportunities embedded in this organization for the employees.
