Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB) is one of the premium B-schools in the country. The Business Management program of XIMB is a line of difference between making future global leaders or managers and is my primary point of preference for the same.
In the current scenario where many B-schools are focused on producing managers or supervisors rather than leaders. Leadership doesn’t come to them because they work for only tweaking up their desires, which for me is a waste of time and is an exaggerated version of what’s happening around them. Desire is limited to the extent of what we have seen.
Leadership is about taking a group of people or nation or the entire world in a direction or to a destination they have not imagined possible. If it’s something they could think, they don’t need a leader for the same. They need a leader because he should be capable of taking them to a place where they themselves have not imagined possible.
And, XIMB takes the right step forward in dealing with such a scenario. It believes that a leader needs to have a profound sense of insight and has laid down the values and objective to aid that. XIMB helps me to work on myself so as to enhance my perception skills rather than tweaking up my desires. It helps me differentiate between what I wish to do and what is most needed right now. It aids in enhancing my competence because XIMB believes that with enormous competence it’s students have; the world can’t put them down.

Given a choice to work for ABG who are considered the Champions for Change, I would wish to associate myself with Novelis. Novelis is the leader in aluminum innovation and with its sustainable approach help in recycling and optimizing the resources. The way Novelis has adopted sustainability as its core value shows how much it cares for the community and plans for a sustainable future. My vision is to help reduce the plastic usage in the world by eliminating the need for single-use plastic and I feel associating with Novelis will help me align my ideas in the right direction and together with the competent innovation, work out a solution for the whole world to benefit.
